Animist to be featured in Communication Arts
We’re also honored and pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded a 2014 Award for Excellence in Packaging Design from Communication Arts Magazine for our Animist Wine package design. The work will be featured in their upcoming annual coming out this September!

Our recent package design for Animist Wines was featured on The Dieline’s 10 best packages.
The Animist name and brand concept are based on the idea of ‘Animism’ – the belief that every worldly human and non-human object possesses a spiritual essence with the eye being the entrance to that soul. The package design is centered around a screen-printed illustration of an illuminated eye, signifying that the wine is a living object with a soul. The overall execution is dark and mysterious, with a perfect balance between classic wine brand sophistication and contemporary illustration and design.”
This wine was developed initially for Southern California Whole Foods Markets with plans for expansion as the brand grows. The branding is targeted towards high-income Millennials looking for a wine that is sophisticated, yet possesses an edge to meet their savvy lifestyle.
